Messy Church

COVID-19 STATUS

During the current pandemic, worship in church has moved to a maximum of fortnightly services.

We are monitoring and responding to the situation all the time.  Any services planned in church are detailed here.

When we do hold services, they are livestreamed on our Youtube channel and saved to watch later.

The Airedale Circuit has been holding a weekly worship service on Zoom since March.
This service is also livestreamed and saved on their Youtube channel.

Messy Church ... at Oakworth Methodist Church ...

Messy Church is an exciting and fun way for all the family to explore the Christian faith in a friendly and informal setting.  Aimed at all age ranges including children Messy Church is appropriate for all including those who may not be able or want to attend traditional Sunday church services.

 

Messy Church involves:-

·         Lots of fun and play

·         A Bible related story

·         Themed craft activities for children and

                parents to enjoy together

·         A meal together for the children

(Please contact us in advance if you have any food allergies and we will do our best to cater for your needs)

 

When does it take place ?

3.15pm to 5.15pm on the 2nd Thursday of the month, but do check the website regularly for confirmation of when the sessions are running (for example dates may change during school holidays). The next few Messy Church dates are below.

 

How much does Messy Church cost ?

£2 per child

As Messy Church is specifically for families, children remember that you will need to come with an adult.
