How to find us

During the current pandemic, worship in church has moved to a maximum of fortnightly services.

We are monitoring and responding to the situation all the time.  Any services planned in church are detailed here.

When we do hold services, they are livestreamed on our Youtube channel and saved to watch later.

The Airedale Circuit has been holding a weekly worship service on Zoom since March.
This service is also livestreamed and saved on their Youtube channel.
For Zoom and phone dial-in details of this service, please get in touch.

Oakworth Methodist Church is right at the heart of Oakworth.  The Primary School and co-op are across the road, Oakworth Station (situated on the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway, famous for being home to the original "The Railway Children" film) is half a mile away from the Church, down Station Road, and Haworth and the Bronté Country are just across the valley.

From Keighley:

Take Oakworth Road (B6143) out of Keighley and, after 2 miles, descend to the mini-roundabout in the centre of the village, at the junction with Station Road.  The church is on your right off the roundabout.

From Haworth (top of Main Street):

Take Mytholmes Lane down to the bottom of the valley and back up the other side (Providence Lane). At the end of the road, turn right onto Keighley Road (B6143). After 300 yards, the church is on your left off the roundabout.

From Lees/Cross Roads:

Take Vale Mill Lane down to the bottom of the valley, over the level crossing by Oakworth Station, then back up Station Road at the other side. The church is straight ahead at top of Station Road.

You can park in the church yard or in Station Road opposite. For large events at weekends or in the evening we are usually able to make use of the Primary School's staff car park (turn right out of the church, then immediately left through the school gates).  The school gates are normally locked out of hours.
